I am Professor and Chair of the International Relations Department of Central European University in Vienna, Austria. I also teach at the Doctoral School of Political Science at CEU, and am a Research Affiliate at the CEU Democracy Institute in Budapest, Hungary. I specialize in ethnic conflict, minority politics, nationalism, populism, foreign policy analysis, and qualitative and mixed methods.
